Hi there!

First and foremost I want to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for visiting my page and for supporting my small business! I never imagined that my baking would go any further than my family and close friends, but I am so grateful that it has!

My name is Maddie Farris and I am a native of Norman, Oklahoma. I married my high school sweetheart, Ty, back in December of 2017 and we welcomed our first baby girl Scottie in March of 2022 and baby girl Charlie in May of 2023. Needless to say, we are in love!

We also have the most perfect 8-year-old-chocolate lab named Duke! I graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2015 and graduated from OU’s College of Law in May of 2019. Since August of 2019 I have been working as the Director of Admissions for the College of Law and have loved every moment of it.

During my seven years of undergrad and law school I had the privilege of working at a local bakery in Norman. While I initially was hired on as front-counter help, I eventually worked my way into the kitchen where, by trial and error, I learned a multitude of baking skills and techniques. This is also where I developed my love for the cakeball!

It wasn’t until college that I realized that baking was my therapy and something that I wanted to be able to work into my everyday life and routine. I was gifted my first KitchenAid for my 21st Birthday and I haven’t looked back since! Thank you again for all of the love and support! I can’t wait to see where this business will go!
